The Storytellers - Episode 036: Mike Aquilina

Mike Aquilina is a Catholic author, popular speaker, poet, and songwriter who serves as the

executive vice president of the St. Paul Center for 

 Biblical Theology.

Christian history tells the story not of an empire, nor of a culture, but of a family. The authors in

this series strive to communicate that history in a way that’s accessible and even entertaining.

They see history as true stories well told. They don’t fear humor or pathos as threats to their

trustworthiness. They are unabashed about their chosen perspective, but they are neither

producing propaganda nor trashing tradition. The Catholic Church’s story is our inheritance, our
